Let's make a logo with Inkscape

Hi, and welcome again to this little tutorial, it's another example how to make a logo or icon with inkscape, so let's get started.

• First pick the Rectangle Tool and draw a rectangle with a color you want :

• Make the rectangle round :

• Now, take the Gradient Tool and drag it for our rectangle, the top color should be white and the bottom should be your color :

• Now, pick the Circle Tool and draw a circle with our color : 

• Put it the same as the picture :

• Now, select both the rectangle and the circle :

• Got to : Path > Divide :

• It gives you like that :

• Select the circle and change it's color :

• Select the rectangle :

• Then, pick the Gradient Tool and start playing with it until it looks good :

• Now, select the Text Tool and write a letter at the middle of our rectangle :

• Change it's color and size until it looks perfect :

• And that all.
