In this tutorial we will make a water background using GIMP
- First create an image with 64*64 pixels.
- Then, let's take our colors palette :
Our blue color |
The light color |
The shadowed blue color |
- Put them on our image :
- Fill the image with the blue color :
- Start adding a triangular form like in the photo :
- Add more :
- And more :
- More and more :
- Now add some shade under every triangle :
- Remove the palette's shaded color :
- Now, go to: Filters > Mapping > Make Connectable :
- It will looks like that :
- The final render :
