Pixel Art : Draw water background

In this tutorial we will make a water background using GIMP First create an image with 64*64 pixels. Then, let's take our colors palette : Our blue color The light color The shadowed blue color Put them on our image : Fill the image with the blue color : Start adding a triangular form like in the photo : Add more : And more : More and more : Now add some shade under every triangle : Remove the palette's shaded color : Now, go to: Filters > Mapping > Make Connectable : It will looks like that : The final render :
