PixelArt : Draw a tree

In this tutorial i will show you how to draw a cool looking tree...

First of all you need to get a drawing tool there are a lot in the web, and in this tutorial i will use GIMP, it's a free 2d tool.

• Open and create a new image with 64*64 pixels :

•  Add a new Transparent Layer :

• Select the pincel and in the brush selection select the little point :

• Click on the new layer to draw on :

• Draw the tree :

•  Select the eraser and make it hard edge :

• Start cleaning :

• Delete the points between edge :

•  It should looks like that :

• Delete it for all the tree :

• Now select a green color :

• Put it near our drawing :

• Select a harder one, make sure you drag on the left-down to have a good looking color :

• D the same thing to get like this :

• You can select now color easily with the pipette tool :

• And then follow step by step :

• And finally the final render :
